A tightly bound copy, but with a knock to the bottom leading corner tip of the upper board and thus good only. Brief gift inscription on the half-title page to a previous owner. Condition: Good. 1956. Reprinted. 187 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Black and white illustrations throughout with photographic plates to centre of book. Pages and plates are lightly tanned throughout. Binding remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges. Light foxing overall.
