Pamphlet. Condition: Very Good -. [4] pages; 15 cm. Program for a production of Ladies of the Evening: A Play in Four Acts by Milton Herbert Gropper at the Broad St. Theatre in Philadelphia. Directed by David Belasco. Featuring most of the cast from its Broadway opening in 1924, although Marion Morehouse replaced Kay Strozzi as Claire Standish. Marion Morehouse's height led to her career as an actress being superceded by success as a model and favorite of photographers Cecil Beaton and Edward Steichen. In 1933 she married poet E. E. Cummings. Scarce. In Very Good- Condition: lightly creased; interior is lightly soiled; solid.
