"A côté des traductions françaises faites par St. Martin on en découvre une autre Le chemin pour aller à Christ imprimé par Gotthard Schlechtiger, imprimeur du Roi et de la Soc. des Sciences 1722, dont l'auteur anonyme est d'origine huguenote et française. Il écrit que Boehme est retourné de l'étranger réformé, qui l'a reçu la premier, dans sa patrie luthérienne, d'où ensuite il est arrivé que les luthériens ont reçu derechef ce don de la main des Réformés."
