Condition: Fair. 1932. First Edition Thus. 336 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Brown leather spine with gilt, brown cloth. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Heavy damp staining to pages edge throughout. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Peeling and loss to leather elements. Gilt lettering has become dull.

Small blind embossed design on upper front board. Forward cocking of text. End paper has parted on back hinge, front remains solid. Text has yellowed with age, some early foxing.
