About this Item: J. A. Allen, London, 1967. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. 1st Edition hardcover with lightly sprung frt board. Tips still sharp, foot of spine barely bumped, Dedication on fep, 128 pp text tight and bright. DJ in new mylar has a few indentations but still looks fab. Phyllis Hinton has no so much selected her contributors for the Riding Cavalcade but has rather invited her talented friends to write about the things nearest to their hearts. The contents vary from Escott North's ever facinating memories of the Old West to a beautiful piece, "The Wild White Horses" by the best selling novelist, Joyce Stranger. The two familiar voices of television and radio, Dorian Williams, M.F.H. and Raymond Brooks-Ward M.H., discuss respectively, the inhumanity of man in "No Horse is Born a Rogue", and the joys of hunting on foot in "The Merry Beagles". Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book. Seller Inventory # 16058
