Occasional notation, or markings in the outer margins. No loose, or missing pages. Includes all illustrations. Pages: (6), xix,(5),477pp wit 12 copper engraved plates and a fold-out frontisoiece of the Devitza Monastary near St.Petersburg.all by P.Mazell with half title. The title with a medallion depicting Catherine the Great. The author was the chaplain to the British factory at St Petersburg and spent much of his time studying the Greeik Orthodox Church. He spent much time studying and observing Russian Orthodox practices.
