Published by Los Angeles, CA: Playgirl Magazine, 2010
Seller: ModernRare, CHICAGO, IL, U.S.A.
First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: As New. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 95 pages. Published in 2010. Rare Levi Johnston and Playgirl Magazine collectible item. A pristine copy of the Playgirl Magazine Winter 2010 Issue. Features Levi Johnston, the once-controversial celebrity/former prospective son-in-law of Sarah Palin on the cover and nude photographs in the inside pages. The Issue sold out upon publication and is now rare. Playgirl Magazine ceased publication and became an online magazine only in late-2008. The Levi Johnston Issue marks its very first "single issue" publication since it stopped printing its Monthly as well as Special Issues. As such, it consists almost entirely of full-frontal nude photographs (in addition to Johnston's spread) from cover to cover, with very little accompanying text and no magazine feature articles. Known online as "Sarah Palin's Son-in-Law Levi Johnston Single Issue Magazine" (which is misleading because he is not Palin's son-in-law), the complete cover title is "Levi Johnston Goes Rogue The Shoot The Interview The Scandal All Inside! Levi Dishes On The Palins, Fatherhood And Stripping Down!". Levi Johnston made his debut in the national and international limelight with his much-covered appearance at the Republican Party Convention in 2008. He subsequently had a public falling-out with his would-be mother-in-law. Undeniably able-bodied and handsome, he said he posed nude to help provide financial support for his son with Bristol Palin. The young couple subsequently got engaged, then broke up again after he confessed that he had fathered yet another child out-of-wedlock, fully living up to his rogue, ladies' man reputation. The "rogue" appellation refers to Sarah Palin's battlecry, which made her one of the most influential figures within the Republican Party. An absolute "must-have" collectible title for Levi Johnston and Playgirl Magazine collectors. This Playgirl Magazine "Levi Johnston" Winter 2010 Issue is now collectible. This is one of few copies still available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright. Please note: Copies available online have very serious flaws because they were pored over. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A rare copy thus. Lavishly illustrated with color plates. A fine copy. (SEE ALSO CHRISTOPHER ATKINS, RONNIE KROELL, AND NICK HAWK PLAYGIRL MAGAZINE TITLES IN OUR CATALOG). no.
