The explorers and the expeditions covered, some famous - others long-since forgotten, are from around the globe. Asia, the Antipodes, North Pole, South America, Livingstone's Journeys, etc. etc. Clean, firmly bound with just a little rubbing to edges. Age-darkening to top page edges. A really rather beautiful, gold, blue,yellow and red book plate, all Victorian gothic curlicues, announces that the book was the First prize for Drawing in Standard 5 in a school in Tottenham Court Road, London.
