In light brown leather with embossed titles and decorative motifs in red and brown to spine and front cover. Light brown end papers. Fold-out family tree to front of book. 1,104 pages. Front cover has come away from spine and back cover is beginning to pull away. Cover is shelf worn to extremities and there is some sun damage to the spine and front. Front fly leaf, dated, dedicated and signed by author, is creased and partly browned. Title page is creased and has minor tears and chips. Fold-out family tree is creased, slightly foxed and, at second fold, nearly torn from top to bottom, Preface and first 12 pages are coming loose. Page 13 is loose.
