About this Item: Grosset & Dunlap, New York, 1941. Full Green Cloth. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine (Brodarted). First Photoplay Edition. Yes, this 292 page Photoplay edition, being an increasingly well respected and energetically applauded offering it is proudly presented with great and well deserved hubris by Hirschfeld Galleries in BOTH the publishers original binding and original dustwrapper. The binding is pristine bright green cloth on boards with dark green titling. And this gem is rock solid tight and clean AAA all the unbumped way. Publishers dark blue top stain is totally unscathed. The beautiful photographic jacket is also AAA, and is now and forevermore protected from any future ambient abuse and resulting degradation by professionally fitted and applied yet instantly removable Brodart mylar. DJ features still shot from movie starring Gary Cooper as Alvin York. Enjoy reading with a real book in your hands.
