First edition of this automotive romance by the husband and wife team of Charles Norris Williamson and Alice Muriel Williamson. Illustrated with photographs, maps and various color illustrations by Frank X. Leyendecker and other artists. A young American woman visits the ancient villages and coastal towns of Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and Wales, taking in the abbeys, cathedrals, Roman ruins and quaint inns. A very good, bright copy with some light wear to the spine tips. There is a long ink inscription (non-authorial) on the flyleaf else the text is very good with some light tanning but no other markings. The scarce jacket is good with some chipping to the spine tips and upper edge of the rear panel and some browning to the spine.
