About this Item: International Publications, Hollywood, 1962. Photo-pictorial Wraps. Condition: Very Good. Photograph (illustrator). First American Printing. Hollywood: International Publications, 1962. "First American Printing". "France'" series #1021. 12mo, 160pp., folding photo-pictorial wraps. Some roughening at one corner, a bit of age toning to the page edges, some spine wrinkling, minor flaws elsewhere. A sturdy, bright and much better than VG copy of this inexpensively made paperback American genre classic. Nice example of pulp fiction as it was in the early sixties; perfect for reading on the laminate bench as you sat in the bus depot or train station, waiting. Not that I did that, of course. BDSM undertones: "the ox-like brute shuffled nearer the bed and brought down the bullwhip". The BULLWHIP ? Future collectible with pulp fiction kitsch. Reference to "First American Printing", while no doubt true, was certainly intentionally misleading; this title is one of the publisher's " France' " series - France' #1021, to be precise - and bears the French flag at lower left on the cover. Best guess - there warn't no first French printing, ever. L30A. Seller Inventory # 000526
