About this Item: David Nutt at the Sign of the Phoenix, Long Acre,, London, 1900. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Illustrated by M. M. Crawford (illustrator). Second Edition; First Printing. Beige pictorial boards, with a delightful 'Art' Nouveau' illustration to the front cover stamped in blue, green and gold, and titled in black in the illustration and to the spine. Some very light wear and very slight discolouration to the beige but overall very good. This is the First Printing of the Second Edition which was newly published with some revisions. Top edge gilt, the remaining page fore-edges slightly irregular, as published, and lightly 'toned' with some foxing spots (pale brown spotting) Internally some light offsetting to the front and rear endpapers and a former owner's name and date on the front free endpaper (from the Giradelli family). Some light foxing (tiny pale yellowy spotting) here and there, but mainly very clean. (xiv) + (2) + 96 pp. Ilustrated in b/w. Notes. Overall an excellent little copy, tight and bright, with a lovely cover. (Uniform with Nutt's 'The Story of Tristan and Iseult.' - I have Vol One Only for sale of 'Tristan.' at the time of listing) .
