Gilt Embossed Blue Cloth. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Undated, but thought to be late nineteenth century. With 13 illustrations in chromo-lithography after original water-colour drawings, one black/white, all tissue-guarded. Pages loosely inserted; joints cracked; some soiling to pages, scattered foxing, but plates unaffected; endpapers heavily tanned; inside front cover scraped; previous owner's pencilled name and address on ffe; blind-stamped cover badly scraped and scratched on back; spine darkened extending along edges of front cover; spine badly frayed at top and base and rubbed along edges; corners bumped and frayed. Although the cover could only be described as Fair, the collection of plates are in very good condition.

Near very good in decorative green cloth with gilt and black embossed graphics and lettering. Book shows some light edge wear , mild rubbing. Interior shows a couple light areas of foxing, binding is split at hinges, but still solid. Text and plates remain crisp and clean, binding firm. A very nice copy of this scarce book.
