Bright red cloth cover is in remarkably good shape and shows very little shelf wear. Pages and endpapers show foxing due to age. Otherwise pages in fine condition, this is a very readable copy of this bittersweet story of the Natchez area prior to the Civil War. Some dust accumulation on the top page edges has caused some discoloration, but does not impact the open pages at all. Rare find. BR (Box 210).

Near-fine with neat name written on flyleaf, otherwise bright and clean inside and out. In a very good plus dust jacket ($2.50 price intact) with minor edgewear and some sunning to spine. Basis for the 1935 film directed by King Vidor. A beautiful copy.
