It also has some ageing to the page edges. The dust jacket shows general wear and ageing, including internally to the extremities, and has a crease to the back panel. Overall a very good, tight and clean copy of this book. (See pictures). This is the author's final novel which won the US National Book Award for Fiction in 1980. It was also the basis for the 1982 American drama film written and directed by Alan J. Pakula, and starring Meryl Streep. The film received five nominations at the 55th Academy Awards, and Streep won the award for Best Actress.
