About this Item: Charles H. Kerr and Company, Chicago, 1893. Stapled, soft cover. Condition: Good+. 1st Edition. A very special book by a very special author. 71/2 X 41/2 inches. Pages are stapled with two staples (original). No back cover. The front cover is intact but not connected to the pages which are in very good condition: tightly stapled, age toned, Pgs. 45-46 have 2 nicks (looks cut 1" by 1/5" and one very small). A few tiny edge tears to pgs. 47-48. Page 48 has some red staining that does not interfere with reading the text. One can tell pg. 48 is the last page of the book because there is a residual of the soft cover that extends onto the page. The front cover has numerous nicks, the largest of which is 1" tapering down to a point at 3/4" into the cover. The price of 25 cents in clearly visible. A name [Jason Cling.?) is written in pencil at the top. There is a stamp: 555 Fulton St. Brooklyn, N.Y. on front cover and bottom of title page. (I know Capt. Jack lived in New York at one time, I am researching whether he lived at this address.) Complementary USPS tracking number sent to your email address. COMPLEMENTARY INSURANCE. International shipping is charged at exact cost. We value our customers: full refund if you return the book in the same condition as sent within 30 days of purchase. Please email for pictures of this book. Thanks for looking. Requests, comments, questions welcomed and answered typically within hours. Seller Inventory # 663
