A touch of minimal, scant foxing on top page edges (barely.) Uncommon original DJ with light sunning to red hue on backstrip. Minimal light handling and rubbing to DJ. One small chip on spine, and small edge chip on upper rear edge. This is a very nice copy of Irwin's magnum opus. Inez Haynes Irwin (March 2, 1873 ? September 25, 1970) was an American feminist, suffragist, author, journalist, member of the National Women's Party, president of the Authors Guild, co-founder of the National Collegiate Equal Suffrage League, Chairperson for the World Center for Women's Archives, and member of the American committee of Prix Femina. This book covers 100 years of American women, their history, and their great social movements of the 19th century. Absolutely rare in original DJ, and unheard of in a collectible condition DJ. VG+.
