Frontis detached, and several gatherings detached but present. Bound in gilt lettered brown cloth over elaborate gilt illustrated boards featuring flowers and birds, thoroughly rubbed and bumped to extremities, lower joint split, selling due to plates.

Attractively decorated brown cloth binding with gilt patterned boards and title in gilt on the spine. The boards have been sunned, so the gilt is dulled around edges. Light wear to spine ends and corners. Hinge tight, except one plate loose, but present. Some brown marks here and there, not effecting plates. Brown end papers withUniversity of London library paste-down to front and remains of what probably was a paste-down to the rear end paper. Rough cut closed page edges. A good copy. May incur additional postage charges overseas.
