Brown cloth cover with black and gold titles and decoration -- worn at corners and especially spine tips, but titles still clear. No dustjacket at issue.

Red decorated cloth with black stamped intricate design on front and spine. Frontispiece with tissue guard in place. Gold stamped on front and spine. Pages have red line outlining each page with words inside red line. Excellent condition. Cover slightly worn on corner & upper and lower edge of spine. Twelve steel engravings. There is a tiny bit of wear to the cloth on the head and foot of the spine. Otherwise the gilt is bright, the text block is tight and complete and this volume is in fine to near fine condition.
