FIRST EDITION 1987, EDITION OF 350 COPIES SIGNED BY BAWDEN, THIS BEING No. 7. 8vo, 210 x 127 mm, 8 x 5 inches, pale green stiff paper covers, lettered green on upper cover, 22 pages. Charming full page frontispiece illustration by Bawden printed pale green. A Fine copy signed by Bawden on the limitation page. Laid in is a one and a half page autograph letter signed from Bawden to Ruari McLean on Bawden's headed paper dated 14 December 1986. He mentions Peter Miller's book shop in York and that he has been selling prints from Catriona. He refers to McLean's "excellent text" for his book of war drawings not yet published. He finishes: "You may know Mr Hardacre, the retired schoolmaster turned printer. With love to Antonia & yourself, Edward". Kenneth Hardacre was the owner of the Kit-Cat Press.
