Frank Baum's delightful adventure of the stuffed patchwork girl who comes to life.Blue cloth boards; verso of half-title page lists titles through The Cowardly Lion of Oz. Fabulous color endpapers, the front-pastedown showing the Scarecrow riding a lion, and the free-endpaper the tinman also astride a large feline of different hue. Rubbing to extremities and corners lightly bumped. 341 pp., followed by five one-page synopses of the following OZ books: The Land of Oz, Ozma of Oz, Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz, The Road to Oz, and The Emerald City of Oz.
