Full-Leather. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Great full calf binding in dark green with 5 raised bands to the spine (spine appears brown) with gilt bordering to bands and front/rear boards. Gilt titling to spine. Internally green marbled EPs to front and rear. Bookplate of Peter Martineau inside front board. Previous owner's handwritten notes are bound in between pages 46 and 47 and pages 354 and 355 (please see photo). There is also a poem by Tennyson handwritten into the rear of the book in 1889 " Crossing The Bar". Some slight browning in places but a nice tight copy. Presents very well.
