Originally published in 1959, this book is one of the original blue tweed cloth-covered books with wrap-around pictorial DJs, so it is a First Edition, but slightly later printing, listing to TS#16 in front matter & on rear flap, HB #39 on back DJ cover. In 184 pages with a plain frontispiece & blue/white endpapers by illustrator Graham Kaye. Book condition is VG: very clean, binding straight & strong, hinges intact, pages creamy white with very mild tanning/dust dulling to outside edges, but unmarked. Very mild rubbing to extremities & bumped corners. The unclipped DJ is VG+, with only mild edgewear in the form of small chips to top edges & edge of front flap/front cover; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free! Good paper. 20 chapters. Rear inside cover has the bookstore stamp of the famous and sadly long gone Hudsons Book Store which was a part of the Hudsons Department Store of Detroit, Michigan.
