Condition: Very Good. Boston: Sanborn, Carter and Bazin, 1856. Hardcover. 8vo. Very good. Black leather backed. No title to spine. Wear to exterior includes browning, bumping, rubbing, and foxing. Minor silverfish damage to end papers. Ex lobbies with Department of Public Instruction, City of New York bookplate to front paste down and stamp to corner of title page. Foxing and browning throughout though text remains bright. Binding is tight. 192 pages. EDU/090525. Book.

Hard Cover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Later printing. Spine missing and signatures a bit loose. Boards worn and soiled. Stain at upper right beginning at front endpaper/flyleaf, mostly not affecting text but not diminishing until page 25. Shallower dampstain at rear endpaper/flyleaf extending to a handful of rear pages. A well-used copy.
