Foreword by H E Maude. xv, 351 pages, three maps, illustrated with Cheyne's own sketches and maps, references, index, end-paper maps: the voyages of Andrew Cheyne. EX-LIBRARY copy with stickers and a date label on the rear flyleaf (over map) and stamps on each of the… three page edges. No other library stamps or marks. Cloth boards, heavily silverfished by the upper and fore-edges of the front board and, to a lesser extent, by the upper-and lower-edges of the rear board. Cheyne's unfinished manuscript covered the four voyages (three in full, one barely begun) he spent collecting Pacific Island produce for the China market from July 1841 to September 1844. No 3 of the Pacific History series. Size: 8vo. Ex-Library.
