Damon, who was an editor of "The Friend", a monthly publication. Rev. Damon came to Oregon via the Steamship Massachusetts in 1849. Article, "In honor of my parents and grandparents, Pioneers of Oregon" by Mrs. Sarah B. Findley Radford. Covers and pages are dampstained on top edge, however, pages are clean and complete. Binding is tight.

Colvig (1845-1936), who came to Oregon as a child in 1851, he learned Chinook from his Indian playmates. He later became an orator, humorist and authority on the India Wars. Pages are very clean and complete. Binding is tight.
