Book First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Possibly the first celebrity cookbook published in the United States. Metallic copper cloth covered boards with gilt and rust decoration on front. Illustrated with color photographs of restaurants of the period around the world. Rubbing and light wear to head and tail of spine, as well as corners. The book has been covered in a mylar jacket which has some cracks and splits, but has done an admirable job protecting the boards. Both bound-in ribbons still attached, with slight fraying to bottom of ribbons. Signed and inscribed to the original owners in black ball point ink by Vincent Price. Some slight scuffing and marks to the edges of the pages only visible when the book is closed, as if from a fingernail. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. Signed by Author(s).
