Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. 1st Edition. This is a first edition, first printing copy of Troubled Blood, the fifth book in the Cormoran Strike Series published by Sphere in 2020. This along with the Cuckoos Calling are the two most valuable books in the overall series with Troubled Blood considered amongst collectors as the hardest book to find signed. The book is in fine condition, unread with a tight binding, the boards are square with sharp corners and without any colour fading. Internally, the pages are bright and clean with no inscriptions, marks or foxing of any kind. Overall the book is in stunning condition aside from a horizontal crease to the lower spine of the book, most likely a binding error. The dust jacket is unclipped, without fading and in pristine condition protected in mylar. The book has J.K. Rowling's hologram adjacent to the title page which is signed in thick black sharpie by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling). This is the style of pen it seems she used to sign the majority of this particular title. Adam Houston 'the Harry Potter Specialist' is the world's leading handwriting and signature expert for J.K. Rowling and it is his opinion that this is an authentic signature. This is an excellent copy in true collector's condition. Signed by Author(s).

Hardcover. Condition: As New. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. 1st Edition. In this near pristine 1-7 set we have the following books: The Cuckoo's Calling, The Silkworm, Career of Evil, Lethal White, Troubled Blood, The Ink Black Heart and The Running Grave. All books are in outstanding, unread condition without any internal marks or ownership inscriptions and near perfect dust jackets. All are signed as Robert Galbraith by J.K. Rowling and books that are supposed to have the hologram, do so. All seven books came from Adam Houston's personal collection. Adam 'the Harry Potter Specialist' is the world's leading handwriting and signature expert for J.K. Rowling. He bought five of the seven books directly from the original owners, all five of which come with Provenance such as handwritten notes, receipts, emails, etc all detailing the books original purchase. Adam took care putting this set together, only purchasing near prefect unread signed books he could be sure were authentic to the best of his knowledge. Cuckoo's Calling, published by Sphere in 2013 is the first book in the series and was published without it being known that Robert Galbraith was actually the pseudonym for J.K. Rowling. This book is one of the original 250 that were sent out to J.K. Rowling to be signed and the sold by Goldsboro Books. The receipt from Goldsboro books is included and a screen shot of the original eBay listing where Adam purchased the book. No J.K. Rowling holograms were stuck into any of the signed first printings of this book. The Silkworm and Career of Evil are the second and third books to be published by Sphere in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Both books and dust jackets are in pristine condition, without any flaws. The Silkworm has the J.K. Rowling hologram adjacent to the signature, whilst Career of Evil does not. This is because all copies of Career of Evil signed for Foyles bookstore at that time did not have the holograms attached. We know this is one of those copies as it comes with the 'Foyles Signed first Edition' sticker to the front of the dust jacket. Lethal White was the fourth book to be published by Sphere in 2018. A pristine copy with the hologram present and a note included written in 2022 to Adam from the original purchaser Ellen that details how she won the signed book in a competition at Robinson' Bookshop in Melbourne. Troubled Blood is the fifth book in the series to be published by Sphere in 2020. This along with the Cuckoos Calling are the two most valuable books in the overall set. A near pristine copy, with hologram and the only book to be signed in thick black sharpie. This is the style of pen it seems she used to sign the majority of this particular title. This was another copy won in a competition, this time on Facebook on December 22nd 2020. The provenance included shows a printout of the Facebook page congratulating the winner Megan Krippner as well as a handwritten note from the bookstore itself, Hachette, New Zealand. The Ink Black Heart is the sixth book to be published by Sphere in 2022. Another near patine copy with a 'signed by the author. sticker present to the front of the dust jacket. As well as the hologram, this book comes with an abundance of provenance including a signed hand written letter from the original purchaser of the book Jason Nunn to Adam dated 8th October 2022, detailing how he purchased the book from the Waterstones website and was very lucky to come across the copy online just at the right time to purchase it. Also included is the original receipt and dispatch note from Waterstones. The Running Grave is the seventh and final book in the set so far, published by Sphere in 2023. Another pristine book, comes with the hologram and the original purchased receipt dates 13th October 2023 to a Mr Garry King. This book was purchased directly from Garry on the 15th January 2024. A unique collection of all seven books in superb condition with an abundance of provenance. Signed by Author(s).
