Very Good+ in Wraps: shows indications of very careful use: shows mild rubbing to wrapper covers; the backstrip is very slightly concave and and has a couple of fine hairline creases; the pages have tanned considerably; the binding remains square and secure; the text is clean. No longer pristine, but remains close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo. 363pp. Mass Market Paperback. This is one of the greatest books you will ever read. He is one of the most important figures of the 20th century only surpassed by Nikola Tesla. This book will open your eyes to so many things of science, politics, ecology, economics and much more. It is so profound and important I think it should be required reading for all politicians, all involved in academia & a must read for all High School & University students. Richard Buckminster Fuller is a University to himself. I highly recommend everybody to watch on youtube his series of lectures "Everything I Know", they are from 2-3 hours each, and you'll learn more from him than probably anywhere or anybody else in your life. I discovered him later in life & wish I could have discovered him earlier. This man is a treasure chest of wisdom, profound empirical knowledge & overall supreme intellect he will blow your mind. He is a Demigod.

Save for some minor shelf wear this is a near fine copy. Includes a publisher's review copy slip loosely inserted. Richard Buckminster Fuller (18951983) was an American architect, systems theorist, writer, designer, inventor, philosopher, and futurist. Styled as R. Buckminster Fuller he published more than 30 books, coined many phrases and popularised the geodesic dome in modern architecture. Fuller was concerned about sustainability and human survival under the existing socio-economic system, yet he remained optimistic about humanity's future. In this book he criticises previous utopian schemes as too exclusive, arguing that this was the major source of their failure, and advocating that a utopia needs to include everyone.
