Dust jacket very good with the original price of "$3.00" on the front flap. The book is very good with slight foxing to endpapers and pastedowns. No.bookplates or writing. The dust jacket is very good with minor toning to spine, some chipping to head of spine, minor chipping at folds. A large book, and a wartime book, it is very uncommon in acceptable condition. Seldom found with the original price intact as this one is. Printed advertisement for "War Bonds" on the rear flap of dust jacket. "Combines the exhilaration of flight with a native's love for the dark heart of Africa." Though there is debate over who actually wrote this, it remains a terrific read. A must for all collectors of aviation literature or those interested in Africa.
