A very nice first printing of the first American edition [William Morrow NY (1986)], signed by author James Clavell directly on the verso of the front free end paper. The book is in very good condition with some curvature in the binding and some scuffs on the boards but with no remainder marks, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining. The dust jacket is in near fine condition, not price-clipped ($22.95), with light creases at the spine ends but no chips or tears and absolutely minimal shelf wear.
