About this Item: Harold B. Schurman, Summerside, P.E.I., 1973. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good -. Volume 1 (1 of 2) of the Genealogy of the Loyalist refugee from New Rochelle, New York who settled in what is now Central Bedeque, Prince Edward Island. Schurman was a prominent businessman, local magistrate and elected representative to the PEI colonial legislature. The dark red boards with gilt lettering on spine & front are clean & bump free. (VG+ - NF- condition.) Pages clean, tight & unmarked. (6),1-696 pages with B&W photos and map endpapers. 4to - over 9 - 12" tall. Uncommon. The clean, yellow dust jacket has several short tears & a tiny amount of chipping at upper spine end. Due to size & weight, extra shipping WILL be required outside Canada.
