Lacks all pages to ix , on ix the print starts with " Remarks on his life and writings by Thomas Campbell". The Poems at rear has it's title page, including publisher, date (1840) & "Bradbury and Evans printers Whitefriers" printed to rear of title page, preceding this on page 960 of the works has "the end" & "Bradbury and Evans printers to the Queen, Whitefriers" So safe to say the works were published by Edward Moxham but as not dated not sure if 1840 or a year or two earlier or later. About this Item: Frederick Warne and Co., 1892. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good++. Collectable. This is a Very Nice Collectable offering of 12 Volumes with leather spines with a Marbeled cover and Leather corners.c1892. The condition Varies from Very Good++ to Good. The majority are Good++. This was most likely a Traveling set. The dimentions are 4 3/4 tall and 3 1/2 wide. All of the Volumes are tight and square, no spine cracks. The spine ends have raised ribes. Three of the books have some tears to the leather ribes., The other 9 volumes have very nice leather spines, with just some light wear. Almost all the covers are all very clean & very bright with very little cover wear. The edges are very nice. There is a little spine end wear on some of the books. The pages are tight & bright & unmarked, no names. Nice Marbeled inside covers.The top page ends are gilt and in very nice condition.
