An exceptional collectable book. Miss Read (or Dora Jessie Saint) was an English novelist and a schoolmistress by profession. Best known for her Fairacre and Thursh Green novels set in the British countryside. In 1998 she was made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to literature. Our collection of Miss Read books come from a single collector, all of them signed.
