ABE customers should save the date for one of the world’s leading rare book shows, the London International Antiquarian Book Fair at Olympia, on June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd this year.
Olympia is a bibliophile’s dream, bringing together more than 150 international booksellers who specialise in everything from medieval manuscripts to signed first editions, as well as prints, maps, and ephemera. It’s a wonderful opportunity for collectors to handle beautiful, museum-quality items, speak with dealers, participate in expert-led guided tours, and try their hand at bookbinding and printing. And this year, to celebrate the Fair’s 60th anniversary, there will be a special "Affordable Collectibles" scheme in place, so that visitors can easily identify the best books under certain price points. Expect your free tickets by email shortly before the Fair opens.
