Illustrated with an engraved title-page and frontispiece; there are also some tailpieces of which several are striking. 8vo. Frontis. port., engr. t.-p., vii, [1], 150, [5], x?xi, [4], 158?275 pp. Shaw & Shoemaker 2316. 19th-century sheep, spine gilt-stamped; binding much rubbed and abraded, front cover off, back cover re-attached with glue, chipped at head and foot of spine, boards exposed on corners. Heavy staining, foxing, and browning to early and later pages; variable spotting. Frontispiece with short tear to outer edge; lacks front free endpaper and fly-leaf; glue and paper adhering along top margin on some pages.
