AbeBooks, the world's largest online used book marketplace, has enhanced its free software program and offers new versions in French and German

(Victoria, BC and Dusseldorf, Germany)- AbeBooks, the world's largest online marketplace for used, rare and out-of-print books, announces the launch of AbeBooks HomeBase 2.3, an enhanced version of the popular bookstore inventory management software.

In addition to new features such as Price Comparison and Export options, HomeBase 2.3 now includes French and German versions to assist booksellers who operate in these languages.

AbeBooks Homebase Makes it Possible to:

    A bookseller can add new books, mark books as sold, and store information ranging from Author, Title, and Price to what shelf the book is on in their bookstore or library

    "Wants" are books that a bookseller or collector is looking for (for themselves or for their clients) but are unable to find. An bookseller can create "Wants" and the system matches them with books recently loaded on the site.

  • Organize Catalogues
    Booksellers or collector that have a variety of specialties or inventory that can be grouped together can use the catalogues feature to get organized.

  • Produce and Manage Invoices
    This feature gives booksellers the ability to issue receipts for books sold on the Internet or through a bookstore.
