Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition, stated. Number 60 of 1000 copies and inscribed by Starr to actor and comedian Mack Swain on the limitation page. Spine is cocked, the binding remains solid. The maroon boards show some obvious handling, dampstaining on the cover and spine, wear to the labels, rubbing at the corners. Half title page unopened. Text and small color illustrations are clean and unmarked. Some dampstaining in the gutters. Untrimmed edges. In its complete, very slightly worn, colorful pictorial art deco dust jacket signed by Victor Mall (white spine a tad toned but red lettering all OK). Twenty-five gossipy stories, essays and columns on Movieland. Several square coloured deco woodcuts as chapter headings.
