Rubbing and bumping to extremities, resulting in slight loss to roan. Slight rubbing to boards, resulting in slight loss to marbled paper boards. Two chips to head of volume IV, where the spine is slightly cracked. Upper joints of volume I slightly cracked. Upper joints of Volume V cracked, with around 2" loss to morocco at left-side head of spine. Slight loss to heads of spines of volumes I, II, and V. Slight offsetting with the odd spot to endpapers. damp stains to endpaper extremities caused by binding glue. Hinges slightly strained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages slightly age toned with the odd spot, heavier to first and last few leaves. Good.
