Jacket Condition: . 27.5 x34 cm white faux leather bevelled boards, with blue red and gilt stamped vignette and titles to the front and blue titles to the spine. Uncut edges and red, white and blue marbled endpapers, 145(8)pp with 33 historical poems covering the period from St Genevieve to the end of World War I. Each poem has a black and white decorative title page and is accompanied by a full page colour illustration by JOB. A touch of scuffing to the bevelled edges, spine tips and corners, predominantly on the bottom edge of the front board, and a little light dust marking commensurate with age. Internally there is a gift inscription dated 1922 on the blank following the front free endpaper and there are very occasional light marks on a couple of pages. All in all a beautifully illustrated volume. Please note this is a large volume and additional postage may well be required.
