First Edition. Original red cloth, near fine, no markings or bookplates, in very good minus dust jacket with the original price at the bottom of the front flap. A heavey good, 986pp, is very scarce in dust jacket. I have had only one other copy in the last 15 years. It is signed on the front pastedown: "Good luck wishes to Joyce from Lavena Watson Brown June 1945." I cannot determine if Lavena Brown is related to the authors, but it is a possibility. This is a seminal cook book for any collectors of American cook books. Do not underestimate its scarcity.
