[Kent Archaeological Society] Charles Edward Keyser FSA (10 September 1847-1929) was a British stockbroker and authority on English church architecture. In his later life, he became Lord of the Manor of Aldermaston in the English county of Berkshire.

First edition hard back binding in publisher's original lavender blue cloth covers bound by Edmonds & Remnants, London, dulled gilt lettering to the spine, gilt Invicta motif to upper panel, sea green paper end papers. 8vo 9¼'' x 6¼''. Contains [xcii] 302 printed pages of text with colour plates and monochrome illustrations. From the private library of Charles Edward Keyser with his coat of arms bookplate inside the front cover. Southland's School Library stamp to the front free end paper, some page sections loose, chips across the spine ends, corners rubbed, the text block is clean and without any foxing.
