In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - dusts jackets rubbed to edges with a couple of small nicks and chips to Volume III (now protected); boards clean and crisp. Bindings tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - ownership name to front pastedown in volumes II and III; toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
