First edition, without dustwrapper. Blue boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Covers are moderately thumbed and rubbed. Boards bear some small swathes of discolouration upon spine and edges. Head and tail of spine bumped, again head and tail are well thumbed and rubbed. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear moderate discolouration and light foxing. Binding is tidy. Previous bookseller's stamp on front pastedown. This book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
