Add to basketTime-Life Books; New York; 1973. 13-1/4" x 10-3/4", 302 numbered pages. A very large book of photographs from the best photojournalism magazine ever. Every page has photographs and each has a 1-3 sentence explanation of the photo. Just examining the magazine covers on the jacket will bring back memories for those of us "of certain age". The book is bound in orange cloth with tan cloth quarter binding, gilt lettering on the front panel and the spine. The book is free of corner bumps with a ding on the top of each board 2 " from the spine. Head and heel of spine are also not bumped, with all edges are virtually free of wear; both boards are clean as is the spine. There is no fading. Except for original owner's name/date inked on the back of the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. It has no remainder mark, is not ex-library and is not a book club edition. The jacket is of VG- quality--it has small chips at the head of the spine and at the top of the rear corner, wear with slight color loss along the front fold, a 1/2" tear at the top of the front panel, and a 1" and 2" tears at the top of the rear panel. What it also had at one time is masking tape on the reverse side, along both top and bottom edges, at the spine and both front and rear folds. The tape has made the jacket just a tad bit stiff but the tape has not caused any discoloration to the book or to the jacket.
