Publisher?s original hardcover binding, red, blue, and white pictorial boards with white lettering to spine. Complete original pictorial dust jacket, with original price code 295/295 printed on the front flap; rear panel introducing the author and listing only contemporaneous Dr. Seuss titles, with no later works advertised, consistent with first-printing issue points.

Binding sound and square. Pages clean, unmarked, and bright throughout. Profusely illustrated on every page with Dr. Seuss?s original drawings, with strong color and no evidence of wash, bleed, or handling. No writing, pencil marks, scribbling, or other internal markings to text block, boards, or dust jacket.

Condition: Hardcover Very Good+, showing only light shelf wear to edges. Dust jacket Very Good?, with light edge wear and a few small chips at the upper and lower edges, including a small chip to the lower right corner of the front panel (approximately ¼? × ¼?). Jacket remains complete, unrestored, and visually attractive, with no tape, repairs, or color touch.

An honest, well-preserved example of a discontinued Seuss title, offered in original, unrestored condition.
