No flaws of note; a touch of sunning at crown, and faint fingernail impression on blue topstain. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Pages and endpapers are clean. Blue marbled paper-covered boards quarter-bound in black cloth. Original DJ is bright and attractive. DJ shows minor light rubbing, and a small closed edge-tear. Tiny remnant of an old price sticker on rear. Kerouac's classic novel written over a ten day period in the fall of 1961, on a typewriter scroll. A beauty of a copy; first edition, first printing. Near Fine/VG++.
