First edition of Billiards For Beginners written by eight times world champion John Roberts Jr. Published in 1901 Sands & Co (UK). Very good condition for its 120 year life span. There are a few wear and tear marks, some slight colour fade, but is a beautifully printed visual aid. This book is a complete guide to learning billiards, with instructions on all related aspects from holding a cue to mastering difficult shots. With simple instructions and a wealth of invaluable tips, this book will be of considerable utility to beginners and amateur players and would make for a fantastic addition to any bookshelf.
