Particulars and Conditions of Sale of a Valuable Estate of 53 acres or thereabouts. comprising the well-known Endon and North-End Quarries, with Canal Wharf, Tramway, and several Workmen's Cottages, together with Attractive Residences known as "Endon House", Field Cottage", and "Rose Cottage", and also small farm and land which will be offered for sale by Messrs.Dobson & Son, at the "Thatched House Hotel", Manchester on Thursday, the 4th of August. 1910 at three for four o'clock in the afternoon. " 8p describing the 7 lots for sale. Lot 7 consists of eight cottages called "The Garrett houses", situate at the corner of Oak Lane and Garrett Brow, or Higher Lane, Kerridge; "the closets to these cottages are newly erected" . The map extends from the wharf on the Macclesfield Canal to the West to Victoria and Windmill Quarries to the south-west.The last page includes the stamped purchase contract concerning Lot 1 which was withdrawn and then purchased by Joseph Wetton and sons for �2700 dated April 1911.
